Yeah, Orlando would count. XP

Pytanie #3:

Do they sell butane gas cans in Bangkok? For the portable gas stoves...?

In Australia, we have portable gas stoves. They need a can of butane gas to work.
The can looks like a spray can.... and it is full of butane gas.

When you take the lid off the can... it looks like the spray nozzle has been taken off.... so there is just a plastic stem coming out of the can.

The can is then inserted into the side of the portable gas stove, and then we can cook with flames of fire.

it's very handy when your Bangkok apartment doesn't come with a stove.

I'm buying the slimline Primus portable gas stove... but i can't take the gas cans on the plane to Bangkok.

Does Bangkok have em'?

I'm originally from the Philippines, but I have lived in Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta for most of my life. I'm just wondering, can I still participate in Student Exchange Programs (like the rotary youth exchange program)?

Pytanie #9:

Can I take around 10 chocolate bars that were bought outside the airport on an international flight to India?

Are we allowed to carry chocolates on international flights from NZ to India via Bangkok?
I know that we can carry some as snack but what if we take a lot of them like 10 -11 bars of them and if they are not bought from a duty-free shop? Should chocolate bars be bought from duty-free and not from outside airport? If it is not bought from duty-free, how many maximum bars can I take with me on a flight?
Please be specific as my doubt is about chocolate bars bought outside airport and about carrying a dozen of them in the hand luggage. Are there restriction on the numbers?
Thank you so much!

Pytanie #12:

3 Months In South East Asia?

I planning on a 3 month (possibly 3 1/2) trip in South East Asia, likely from January to April. I'm 19, and have been to Thailand once (last year for one month; I was there by myself.) I really loved Thailand, particularly Koh Samui. I never did get up to Northern Thailand though, which I hope to do this time. My question is, what would be a good rough itinerary for someone with 3 months, and about 3,000 USD (ticket to Bangkok already paid for.) I will be starting and ending my trip in Bangkok.
* My general interests are:
- Being in places with a good number of other foreigners (preferably my age)
- Good nightlife
- Exploring temples.

* I know I am asking a lot, but I would appreciate any information from veteran travellers of South East Asia.

Pytanie #13:

Your opinion would help please!?

Sorry if this seems strange.

I wonder what your take on this is.

I lived in SE Asia last year and was there for several months. In that time I met a Thai guy. But the main reason for my long trip was looking for a break and get over an ex. He wasnt the best guy in the world.

This guy was lovely and after a period of time, dating etc we began a sexual relationship. It was a small island so we spent lots of time together (so unlike a normal situation where you may date but see each other a few times a week)

Ive always been very careful and never slept around. However, one time we had an accident.

I was meant to go to meet his mother but had to fly back as my visa was running out, but intended on coming back to the island again, after a trip home to the UK to tie up loose ends and check on my flat etc..

However, the day I was leaving I did a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant, I was alone in Bangkok by this point.
It was a shock but a welcome surprise as my baby wasnt unwanted by either of us. However we obviously hadnt been together that long.

Due to being pregnant I decided to stay in the UK to have my baby and then go back to see him. Due to hormones on my part and me not dealing with things very well, due to my own things I had going on, its only recently I have been good at calling him etc (he was always very interested and tried to call a lot)

We have spoken quite a few times recently and had some nice chats etc. the other day (Monday) he said to me ''thank you for having my baby'' (so sweet) and then he said ''I would like you to marry me''.

Hes a nice guy. I just hope his feelings are genuine. I do not mean that to be nasty, but I havent the best self esteem as my ex wasnt that good to me. But is it possible hes genuine?

Its quite unusual for a Thai man to date a Western woman. Im not rich or anything. Hes Thai / Muslim and I dont want him to feel he has to marry me just because of the baby etc. Obviously me and him will talk but your neutral respectful opinion would be great. (Im not overtly religious but buddhism is what i try and follow more as a way of life)

I go back in January for a long time. I just wondered what your take is on this.

Ive had a tough old time of it and would like to think this is my good karma! and finally have some happiness ;-)

thanks

How will a young beautiful Black-Caribbean American girl be treated in Bangkok, Thailand?

Im visiting Thailand to see my best friend from high school, she was recently married to a Thai guy (she's Italian and Russian) and she invited to stay over their new beautiful house in Bangkok. I heard only a COUPLE of stories about how Thai people are not comfortable with people of dark skin and this scarred me a bit. I am really into Thai food, know only a couple of words in Thai, and respect the beautiful and peaceful traditions the country offers. Ho will a Black girl be treated in Bangkok, Thailand?

Where should I stop over for a few days if I am going to Australia?

I'm going to fly from Israel to Australia in business class in a few months, So I wanted to know what is a good place to stop over for a few days so I don't have to fly direct? (I'm 13, my brother is 15 and my sister is 8 and my parents don't think we can handle 30 hours on a plane, even in business class :)) I've been to Hong Kong twice, staying there for 4 days the first time and 3 days the second time, and i've been to Bangkok staying there for 2 days (all these trips were between flying to Australia and Israel), are these the only places you can stop over? Pytanie #34:

how much alcohol can i take overseas?

Hi,
I am going to Greece on Wednesday, to a little Island off the coast of Athens called 'Kythera'
Its a beautiful island but the wine is rubbish and my sister who lives there wants me to bring her as much wine as will fit into my suitcase. I have checked with customs in Australia, and they said I can take 100 Litres of alcohol in my checked in baggage out of the country but I am worried about whether customs at Bangkok airport will allow me to pass through with that much alcohol (about 10 bottles of wine) and whether customs at Athens airport will allow me to enter with that much in my baggage. Anyone have any ideas?
I tried contacting Bangkok airport but their website never opens and I cant find their contact details.

Pytanie #35:

Should I even visit Phuket, Thailand?

In thailand for about 8 days. Definitely spending 3-4 days in Bangkok, should I make the trouble of heading over to Phuket by train? will then be heading back home from Phuket, which is a lot more expensive than heading home from bangkok. Since I am a student on a moderate budget, should I instead just explore beaches closer to bangkok? Will I get more bang for my buck that way? Or is Phuket worth the price tag? I definitely want some nice clean beaches to swim and dive, nice people and parties dont hurt either....
EDIT : I CAN afford it. been savin a long time for this. But doesn't mean i want to squandor it all away! I'm bothered more about the time. So, overall, is it worth it?

Pytanie #42:

People don't really love animals at all, do they?

"A two-month-old tiger cub has been found sedated and hidden among stuffed toy tigers in a woman's luggage at Bangkok's airport, the wildlife trade monitoring network Traffic has said.

The Thai national was trying to board a flight to Iran but had difficulty with a large bag at check-in.

X-rays aroused suspicions among airport staff who believed they had seen an image resembling a real animal.

Wildlife officers were then called in and discovered the tranquilised cub."
